SIM VAM Plus has Vescicular Arbuscular Mychorizal spores and fungal filaments on infected root bits, which symbiotically associates with roots of the plants and helps in the increased absorption of phosphorus
Specification
SIM VAM Plus is a biofertilizer based on spores and fragments of mycorhizal fungal filaments on infected root bits. CFU : 100 propagules/gm
Direction for use
- Seed Treatment – For 1 Kg seeds mix 20 -25 gms of SIM VAM Plus with jaggery solution and apply evenly on seed surface. Dry treated seed in shade before sowing and use on same day.
- Soil Application – Mix 4 kg of SIM VAM Plus with 50 to 100 kg of well decomposed manure per acre.
- Seedling Treatment : Mix 10 gms of SIM VAM Plus with 1 ltr of water and soak the roots of seedling for 15 – 30 mins before transplanting.
- Nursery application (100gm/sq.m) : The inoculum can be applied at 2-3 cm below the soil level at the time of sowing. Polybag seedlings(10 kg of VAM for 1000 kg of potting mixture) : Mix 10 kg of the inoculum with 1000 kg of potting mixture before sowing.
- At planting (20 gm/seedling) : Apply at the time of planting. Grown up trees (200 gm/tree) : Apply the inoculum near the root zone.
